Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This notice applies to italianwinebridgekorea.com and enquiries sent to its contact address.
This notice describes personal data associated with browsing the Italian Wine Bridge Korea website and contacting Amalia Petrovics through its email link.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller is Amalia Petrovics, operating the Italian Wine Bridge Korea project in Italy. For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, write to amalia@italianwinebridgekorea.com.
Information you provide by email
Clicking the contact link opens your email application. The website itself has no contact form. If you send a message, the information received may include your name, email address, professional contact details, organisation, message and any attachments you choose to send. Please include only information needed for your enquiry.
Why information is used
Contact information and correspondence are used to respond to enquiries and manage the related exchange. Where you request steps towards a contract to which you would be a party, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other professional enquiries, including contact on behalf of an organisation, the basis is the legitimate interest in answering relevant correspondence and managing business contacts under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, subject to your interests and rights.
Providing information by email is voluntary. Without a reply address and enough information about your request, it may not be possible to answer. An enquiry does not by itself subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise unrelated promotional messages.
Browsing data
Delivering and protecting a website can involve processing IP addresses, requested pages, request times and technical information about browsers or devices through hosting and security services. Such processing must be limited to what is necessary for site delivery, security and troubleshooting, on the basis of the legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Spaceship, the hosting provider, states that hosting logs may contain visitors’ IP addresses.
Who may receive information
The public website uses Spaceship hosting, and the domain’s incoming email is routed through Spacemail, a Spaceship service. These services process technical and correspondence data needed for hosting, security, email delivery and storage. Data may also need to be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law. Spaceship acts as a processor for covered hosted services under its Data Processing Addendum. Its authorised sub-processors may assist in providing those services.
This notice covers website enquiries, not subsequent buyer introductions or the exchange of contact details with wineries or Korean importers. Any such further use requires appropriate information about its purpose, recipients and legal basis.
How long information is kept
Enquiries are kept for the time needed to respond and complete the related follow-up. When no ongoing relationship or unresolved request remains, correspondence is deleted unless required for a legal obligation or a specific legal claim. Where a request leads to an engagement, relevant correspondence is retained for that relationship and any applicable statutory period. For hosted data, logs and backups, the provider’s retention criterion is the time necessary to deliver the relevant service or meet legal requirements. This does not mean that every log has the same lifetime as the hosting contract. You can request information about retention and deletion for your data at the contact address above.
International processing
The project’s focus on South Korea does not itself mean that website enquiries are sent there. Spaceship’s service arrangements allow processing in the United States. For transfers outside the European Economic Area, its Data Processing Addendum provides for European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable, or another recognised lawful transfer mechanism. The clauses and the provider’s processing arrangements can be consulted in the Data Processing Addendum; you may also request information or a copy of the relevant safeguards from the controller.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. If a future processing activity relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Send requests to amalia@italianwinebridgekorea.com. Requests are normally answered within one month; any extension permitted by the GDPR must be explained within that first month. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) or another competent supervisory authority.
